Post GSS

I made a few purchases before the GST hike. I bought 2 shoes and a stripped T-shirt which added up to under $150, my budget. Adding to the $40 that I spent on books, under $200 is the amount that I spent for this year's GSS. That's all, and its already more than previous years already. I am not really a spend-thrift, and certainly, I do not need a lot of consumption goods. The purchases were a good treat for me because I have been working pretty intensively these few weeks. However, I am also going to Taiwan for a short holiday, so I am also trying to control my expenses. I still want to achieve certain savings that I want to attain.

Coming week, I am going to meet several groups of friends. I still have to work, and certainly tuition as well. Tuition is my primary source of income, even though its hand-to-mouth kind of work, but that's like that only kind of work I am able to find. Will be a busy week like the weeks of the past month, but at least it should be enjoyable. Most likely, I would not need to work all 5 days, because the office always over indents helpers. Hope I get my pay soon. Peace =)
