O week to week 1

Life is moving very fast. Typing on my laptop now as I feeling super elderly. I do not know why, but I feel that I age faster than most people. Maybe it’s my injuries. Maybe it’s my thinking, my pessimism. Reaching 11am as I am typing now. In the heat of CORS now.

People younger than me. Life really gets tougher as you get older. Maybe its nature’s natural selection to bring you through life. The tougher things get, the stronger you will be. Tomorrow will be the end of O week. Life can be unpleasant at times. Ending is never an option now, though it seemed like a viable solution in the past.

Was lying on my bed while I got another idea. Will write it now. Humans create elevated platforms to shine. Fashion, trends are examples of ever-changing issues that seem to just revolve around one another. Time seemed to cycle in these two sections of life. There are only that many colours, that many permutations, that many cuttings. However, brand names seem to get a better of people and their money, especially a better part of their money.

Humans have created a platform that has be soon established that we forgot that almost everything around us are created and maintained by us. Pride, shame, integrity, honour, prestige. So many other stuff that we have created, yet, we do not know. Living in a material world, I myself have my unresolved issues. Again, its just about my army days. I am giving all my friends a great hint, a spot in me that if you all want to get me pissed off, hit it. Stay away from that spot if you do not. What spot? Listen carefully. NEVER, EVER MALIGN ME. That’s it. Simple, easy, but if you do it well, you can see my face turn from red to black to “in your face”. Miscommunication is not an excuse. That’s your problem, but I have learnt to give most adults their benefit, the benefit of an adult. Would you give me my benefit of an adult? People tend to not return what they want others to give them. Most people have not seen me turn ugly. I seldom do. A line from “Anger Management”, “I am an angry man. I am angry at myself, for letting all the people step all over me.” That’s how I usually feel. Only those that have been long enough with me have seen me. Xin De, Long Jin, Kee Hui, haha.. These few people have seen me turn ugly, because I know 2 of them for almost 10 years, and another for 17 years. I reckon NUS people never see me turn ugly, but some are challenging that line. I fucking warn you, never malign me. Hint, Ivan from O week, if you are reading this, look at the words that come after your name in this line. It has something to do with it. Try me, I also wonder how ugly I can get nowadays.

School is starting. Seem to be resolving other people’s problems rather than my own. I have taught myself to solve my own problems by myself. Advice are cheap, often free, and they usually cost even less. That’s my advice to my troubled friends. Do try to think about your own problems, and try to solve them by yourself first. That’s the only way you will be able to truly learn.

Learning to live in uncertainty now. But my life is still better than those in Lebanon. I sympathize every war-torn country.
