My country is actually fine, but the next generation is going to suffer badly. Why? I have supporting reasons from daily accounts
Its unbelievable how many pampered children are there in my country. Unfortunately, I am one of them. Fortunately, I am not as pampered as most of those out there. My generation is still not as bad. There are a couple of pampered people in my generation, but the coming generation seems to be flooded with them. I believe abundance has something to do with it. Too many material possessions are being hung around these kids that they are losing sight of things. I also blame on the media, the marketing people, and parents in as well.
Too many people out there want and that, but they fail to realize that life is not just about that. Kids go from clubbing to drinking to drugs to gambling to maybe petty thief, or even best, pre-marital sex. I do some of them (minor mah jiong gambling and clubbing like once in a blue moon). I guess I am a nerd, someone that does not really fit in. Not saying clubbers, drinkers or gamblers are going to lead a disastrous life. However, these things are linked to negative side. Well, my country is going to have 2 IRs soon. Hope that serves the country well.
Pranks… can you people stand them? Just now I was walking pass a row of private houses to my own house, and I was the target of wet tissue attacks from dark private bungalow houses. I pointed the notorious middle finger at them, and they shouted back, “Point!” I pointed even longer. From their voice, I know it’s a young teenage boy, should be in his secondary school or JC. I am not saying his life is gone, but it’s not the most positive thing either. I am wrong to put my finger as well? Yah, I guess so. But when did I say I am a good guy?
I have gone through my share of army, my share of blood and tears, my share of torn ligament, my share of uninterrupted scolding of vulgarities, so do not FUCKING PLAY WITH ME OK!!!! Hahaha… Not angry, just making a statement.
Anyone offended by those words in bold, I am not really sorry. If you have gone through army, you would have realized that. It’s like life, aging, sickness and death. They are part and parcel of life.
