Bottomless Pit

Tanya Chua, Wu Di Dong. Excellent. I feel that the song is very applicable to our daily lives nowadays, especially to the younger generation, including me (hey, I am still young ok!!). However, the media also has to play a very big part, like they do in almost every part of our lives now.

What is the song about? It’s about entering and leaving relationships for the sake of being in one. Any one here prone to that? I am not, because I never got into one myself, hehe… The important thing is that I see many friends around me having a very great longing to be in a relationship. I used to think that way months ago (roughly 1 and a half to 2 months ago). Now, I would not say I am completely love-less, but I am certainly not so girl-crazy as before. And people, do not worry, under the context of the “Broke Back Era”, neither am I guy-crazy.

Anyway, back to the song. It is really my favourite Tanya Chua song, although some of my friends prefer her older songs, when she was still not as famous, and when her song lyrics were still English. The lyrics of this song are great, very meaningful, and they struck me as though lightning from the heavens. A real great song that I recommend to all. Great sad love song that is not focus on break-ups, but on the idea of modern city love-relationships in general.
