Da Vinci's Code

My 1st interaction with Leonardo Da Vinci was when i saw the cartoon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, haha... I think many also din realise till much later that the clever Rat named his disciples after the names of famous painters. Interesting, rit?

My 2nd interaction with the painter was a very funny comic book, named 'Leonardo was a Genius' That was a real stupid comic, abt Leonardo Da Vinci. That was when i realise that he was not only a painter, but also a very interesting thinker, architect, designer. It was really a light reading kind of book, n it actually hard part 1 n 2. I dunno if it had other parts, but i really loved the comic. Very unfortunately, it was very badly torned up, n now, after moving my house once, i can confidently say that i have lost the book. =(

Thereafter, i have some interactions with Da Vinci and his works from TV, newspapers and stuff. Then, in the army, i bought a book, called '7 ways to think link Leonardo Da Vinci'. It was actually a book recommended by a book that i was reading. haha.. i read alot of books one u know? It was a nice book, with an intro abt Da Vinci's life and his works. The rest of the book is abt the title itself. (self-explanatary) A very interesting book, even giving some basic drawing lessons, and also truly shocked me with Da Vinci's talent. He is ambixterous, not only in his writing, but also in his painting!!!! n he can also write in a way that people can only understand if they read it thru a mirror. Crazy rit!!!!!

Now, everyone reading this blog must be expecting for me to say abt this book, the Da Vinci Code. I took me a long time to really pick up the book n read, but once i did, i finished it in 5 days. Not saying i am fast or not, but its just saying its fast for me, for i seldom read fiction books, and that u need a real riverting book to keep me wanting to read more n more, till i finish it.

Even b4 i finish the book, i book a bk that explains the stuff inside the Da Vinci Code. I think it explains more abt Christian stuff than abt Da Vinci's stuff, but its ok, haha... just read loh. Now, as i am typing, i am still trying to improve my left hand writing(i am a right handed). i was trying to practise my drawing, but too bad, i have to buck up cantonese, n also do some self-reflection. Think i will only start to draw again when i start on learning architecture n prdt designing stuff. but its still a long way ahead.
