Broke up...

Haiz... After weeks of procastination, I finally broke up with the NUS volleyball team. I had been training with them for a month or 2, but due to unforseen circumstances, I have no choice but to quit from it.

Feels rather sad, as though I broke up with a girlfriend. That is as drastic as I can imagine for now. I have been playing volleyball since Secondary 1, and has not stopped till my army days. In a way, volleyball, have been my life. Most of my close friends I got to know them from volleyball, and I spend most of my time playing volleyball, if not studying or playing computer games.

Rather sad because the reaction of the captain was not very pleasant either. He said 'Ok lo', then hung up the phone. I hope he is not angry with me or anything, but I really cannot play for them anymore. I guess I should have told him earlier, but I was hoping for the best the my leg might recover somehow. I guess its time for me to look for other forms of attachments.

The reason why I have to quit? My knee injury. Since after the intensive training before the start of the exams, I my knee have been hurting. Even just now, when walking back from my sister birthday party, my knee hurt a little. Army played a big part in my knee and ankle injury, and for that, I am forever displeased at the army. I am still in Eusoff volleyball, but I am very uncertain about my knee condition. I would not be surprise if I need to quit playing volleyball completely. I will try to fix my knee back. Thats all I can do for now.
