I am starting now, my first reflections. I am doing 2 forms of reflections, one about my life, and one about the nature of things. The former I will do it online, because I can write it down in essay format. The latter I will need to draw stuff, like mind maps, diagrams, circles inside circles.... I think you clever people get what I mean, hahaha... On with my reflections.
So, how did my life begin? I owe it to my parents, my mother and my father. However, I will first start of with my mother. My father will come soon.
My mother is really one of the most influencial persons in my life. Without her, I doubt could have lasted that long. She is very talented. She can speak as many dialects as I know how many there are around, as well as Japanese, English, Chinese (duh) and Malay, cook VERY well, bake chocolate, cheese, fruit, wedding, moon cakes, cookies, make durian, cream and curry puffs, muffins, brownies... knows how to sew clothes, knows the Singapore streets very well, makes part time money out of the stock market... So many things, I can't write them all. However, the most important thing, she has taught me well. Without her, I cannot imagine what kind of lousy person I will become.
She has been my inspiration in many aspects of my life, especially the spark of my interest in the stock market, and the thriftiness that she has instilled very well in me. Of all things, she has been there for me when I need her, and even sometimes giving into my tough demands eg. me staying in hall in spite it will incur more, and not to say unnecessary, cost. How much more can I demand from my mother? No one is perfect, including my mother, but to me, my mother is one thats close to that level, the level of perfection...
People, no point getting jealous, hehe... for I am sure your mother is as good as mine. Appreciate your own mother, for that is one very important thing I will remind myself to follow whenever I have the chance to, and to be fillial as and when its possible. I will try my best to not let her worry for me anymore. My mother... I was given a headstart in life when I was born as her son. Lucky ME!!!
