Exploring Reflections

Has led a varsity life for a month or so. Been trying to get used to it. Living in Eusoff making life more interesting, on top of the many weird things I get to see, hear, do, experience. Exploring the unknown, and rediscovering what I have known, life is moving on the the next stage of life. Although it is rather hectic, fulfilling might be the word some other people might use. At least life is moving up, for anything is better than army.Actually, anything is better than army.

Reflection 1: Forgive and Forget. I realised that although I have been trying to preach that to people around me, I am still short of what I am preaching. I just got over someone that I dislike since primary school, over a grudge that I have been bearing since that. I am really petty right? Also, another from Secondary School. I have gotten over him as well. My JC mates, I am almost done with processing that. Army, thats something that I am still trying to get over. The last bit might be something that I will never get over. Eating my own words now.

Reflection 2: How come some FASS gals wear skirts like shorts? Singapore's weather is hot, but is it really necessary? I asked a few of my female friends, but they replied, 'Isn't that what guys want, as short as possible?' I find that question hard to follow. So what if guys want it, but it does not mean that the gals have to oblige right? And sometimes, guys do prefer SOME gals to cover themselves more, for we rather not see.

Reflection 3: I have been doing too much of something for the wrong reasons? I mean, academic readings. FASS is suppose to be the slackest of all fac in the whole of NUS, yet i find it impossible to have much free time, because of the amt of reading I have to do. Its really a lot, so much more that I have no time to do my own reading. I got to remind myself that I am in NUS for an education, not for reading. I can do the latter part on my own, at my own free time. I want to do more learning outside of my academic purpose. I will remember.
