Book retailers in Spore

My favourite book retailer in Singapore is MPH. They sell mainly books (and a few bookmarks, keychains, magazines, newpapers). Their range is pretty big, especially for investment, business managment, self-improvement books. Another point is that their books are usually not as expensive as compared to Borders and Kinokuniya. This is just a personal opinion, so Borders and Kino, do not come and sue me, ok? I will write something good abt u all later.

I am pretty sad that the MPH near my house has moved, because i do not really like the book range that Popular has. Popular is more suitable for simple stationary and certain books. Ironically, i grew up inside a Popular outlet.

Borders has one of the best range of books, and you get to sit around (and read books for free) if you are there early. They also sell many other stuff include CDs, VCDs, DVDs. Look out for occasion discounts, as their books are a bit expensive. I have a friend that always go there to look at their travel guides.

Kinokuniya also has a great selection of books. I personally feel the Kinokuniya at Taka has the biggest range, even bigger than Borders. Howeber, my friend says Borders is bigger. Haha.. i still prefer Kinokuniya. It also has a great range of imported books, especially Japanese books. Many books that i cant find elsewhere can be found in Kino. However, they are also unbelievably expensive. Seen i simple retail book that cost $190+? You can find it at Kino.

I just realised Times Bookshop has a few outlet in Singapore also. It als has a great range of books, some that i once thought only could be found in Borders and Kino. It is also the only book retailer that is actively involved in the GGS. Bought a 20% off book from there recently.

i missed out any book retailers? Do tell me. Dunno if anyone cares about books though, hahaha...
