Technically, i shld be working now, but i am still at home. even till now, i dunno where my work place is. In fact, i dun even think i will get paid for it. But its all right, cos i'm helping my uncle. Later i have to go find where the place is, haha... dunno wat i am suppose to do at the place also, but knows that he deals with furniture. So if anyone wants to look for furniture, look for me ok? haha...
Going to rain already, think later i might have some problems finding the place in the wet weather. Saw a documentary on some lost civilisation. They we searching in the deep seas. Imagine if after another thousand yrs, if Singapore were to be under the sea, the area of the sea will be damn polluated. Lucky that the past civilisations used stones only, n not plastics and other non-biodegrable items.
"An-chor was a large civilisation, holding more than 1 million people at its prime, with its size larger than New York. However, they were cutting down more and more forest land for agriculture purposes. How horrible it would be for those 1 million people when they realise that this cannot go on forever. We must know how they feel, becos history is repeating itself... "
Haha... makes no sense rit? cos i dun remember word for word la, haha... but it was said in a short documentary abt the lost civilisation of An-chor, in the forest of Cambodia i think. but its the last sentence that strikes me the most, although it is also not word for word....
Whats gd of economically development when the developments eventually will lead to the downfall of the whole civilisation, in our context, the destruction of Earth?
