This is in continuation of the movie i saw. It had a scene where the boy asked the lady out for a movie, n the lady started to say that it would be unfair to him, cos she still cant forgot his decesended husband(she does not know he is alive).i just got me thinking...
When a guy asks a gal out, does it mean that the guy wants to woo the gal? Cant a guy ask a gal out so that he can watch the movie with a friend??
Can a guy n a gal be just true friends, n not develop into a intimate relationship?
Is it always just a corny attempt by a guy to get hitched when he asks a gal that he wants to befriend with her? Dun think gals would believe a guy would just wan to be her friend if a stranger ask her that, rit?
Once a person is attached, it is a taboo for him/her to go out alone w someone of the opposite sex? Cant a attached guy/gal go out with opposite gender friend(s) alone?
Sometimes, i also cant understand guys, even though im one, haha... n of cos i wun understand gals la. i dun understand anyone, haha.... =)

Sure...no matter guys/gals, asking the opposite gender to watch a movie as a friend is absolutely OK ~

erm...about befriending a stranger of the opposite gender...it might be strange in our culture, but I think it's kinda common in the Western culture?! especially in places like pubs...so, i don't think that its a corny attempt?! ^^||

I personally don't think its a taboo...getting into a relationship doesn't necessarily forbids the other party to go out with friends of the opposite gender. Of course, what matters is really the trust & respect between the couple. Its psychologically unhealthy if you're just hanging around with ONLY friends of the same gender when you're in a relationship.
haha...that's my two cents worth. ^^ & I'm sure that doesn't count as a "general" comment that represents how gals think ^^|||
anyway, I've been busy lately...so, just take care in the meanwhile ^^ hahaha...interesting entry ~
