she's gone... But i am happy for her =)

My FAV SinGer is going to retire THis ApRil!!!!! FAYE WONG, i din even get a chance to go to any of ur concerts!!!! Its a nightmare come true. She came here i think last yr or 2 yrs ago for a one nit concert. Wanted to go but cant, cos it was on a wed nit n had things to do in camp =(

Although i wun say i am a true fan of hers, cos i dun have all her cds, neither any posters or any of her autographed stuff, but i still like her for the way she is. No no, not those romance type. Its more of a form of idolism.

Her voice is very soothing n pure, and although she is not the most beautiful lady, she is attractive in her own way. No sexiness, no acting cute, just her very voice n somewat interesting songs.

Her never-care-less attitude used to earned her the title of 'The hardest celebrities to interview", but thats wat i like abt her too. I feel that its really great to be able do sth she like, n not care much abt wat others have to say. Takes real courage. At least better than those singers that pretend to be very cheerful or friendly, but are actually just there to win hearts of the consumers, so that their sales can be better.

The media did say that its typical FAye Wong to just retire like that. She did say b4 that she will retire by the age of 35, her current age. Ironically, the personality that i admire so much is the reason that makes people feel that she will not sing professionally again once she retires. That is something i find the saddest of all.

Just for the record, my 1st 2 albums were her albums, both of which are compilations of her best songs. Honestly, i dun like all her songs, but she has the greatest no. of songs that i like. Hopefully, she will be able to carry on her blessed life. Too bad, i din even get the chance to c her perform live b4..... A real great regret. =(
